Bubbly for CIT
The bubbly is flowing at the CIT as its information technology web site wins big in Sweden.
"Life Long Learning on the World Wide Web" has taken first place in its section in the Global Bangemann Challenge, an international competition recognising excellence in information technology around the globe.
Principal lecturer at CIT and driving force behind the web site Brian Brown was in Stockholm to receive the trophy from the King of Sweden last week.
This teaching web site was designed initially to meet the needs of internal IT students but has become increasingly popular with users all around the world, attracting 25,000 visitors a week.
