Website a winner
Central Institute of Technology lecturer Brian Brown has reached the finals of the Global Bangemann Challenge, an international competition to reward excellence in information technology projects. Mr Brown's entry is a website that people can go to if they want to learn about computers. The simple, self-testing site includes instruction on how to use a computer, how to connect computers, and how to set up websites. It already attracts 25,000 visitors a week. Mr Brown will attend the awards ceremony in Stockholm. Sweden. on June 9.
